HERE ARE MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE MINI BIKE WANTED .............My son is nearly 5, measures 115cm (45"), has an inside leg of 48cm (19") and we are looking for a race bike for him. He has rode a Redline Flight Mini bmx at the club and this seems ideal but very expensive new. We would be interested in a second hand Redline or other makes that are light and of a size he can ride confidently

Unfortunately they stay expensive even when used as there is a supply and demand issue, I have one and have at least 3 people willing to give me £200 for it. Don't think Harrison would be to pleased about it though.

We have an 18" wheel Redline Proline Micro-Mini for sale - don't know whether you have seen or considered one of these. They're generally aimed at ages 3-5, so he might already be at the upper size limit for it. We'd like £250 for it, but that includes £50 worth of additional new tyres and inner tubes (these are sometimes hard to get hold of). The bikes cost around £340 new. We also have the full cog set that came with it and touch up paint. Specs and pics from AlansBMX here: www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?cPath=38_39&products_id=8650
