Male 10’s saw Ciaran Warner pull out all the stops to increase his region ranking, only narrowly missing out on the A final Ciaran had to stamp his authority quickly on the B final riders, With a miss timed start the race was looking over by the end of the 1st straight with him entering the first corner in last place, however from somewhere Ciaran dug deep and through sheer power and riding the unconventional long high line he emerged in 2nd place, which he held to the end, much to the delight of the ever increasing MK team spectators!
Toby Lachlan delivered his usual high standard of riding in the Male 12’s we are all coming to take for granted and easily made the top final, lining up on the gate for the main event A final saw him the only rider from the east region, the midlands riders proved too much though and shut the door on him early in the race and had to settle for 8th
In the highly competitive Male 15 age group Ethan Cremin raised his game to a level not seen this year, smashing all 3 of his motos with 1,2,3 finishes saw him line up with the elite of his class from both regions, Ethans hardest race this year saw him perform his best ride to finish 3rd overall on the day, easily a main contender for rider of the day.
In the girls 9-10 age group Zara Lachlan continued her rise through the ranks, there was no way she was letting the Midland riders steal the show, solid riding through all her motos put her into the finals, Taking 5th on the day gave her enough points over the other East riders to put her in the top spot which with only 2 round left makes her favourite for it.

Cruiser 40-44, Spencer Cremin and MK Coach Joe Mendes were MK’s top performers on the day, with such a strong class being represented from the Midlands it was going to be tough to make Finals, however even after crashing out in 1 of his motos Spencer still managed to finish 2nd on the day earning much needed points for the city club, with Coach Mendes taking 3rd.
Golden Girl Sarah Fuller continued to shine in the 30+ females, however she realised she was not going to have it all go her way when Norwich’s UK No1 Rider Abi Hill signed on to race in the morning, Sarah rode every race as if it was the final, with only a tyres width separating her and Abi at the finish line each time shows the commitment, dedication and practice is starting to pay off, Coach Mendes commented “ I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before Sarah steps up to compete Nationally, it was great to see her racing the Uk1 today and I’m sure she will take a lot away from it, nothing was between them which proves she’s more than ready to go”
MK Club Chairman, Marc Devereux said, “ We have had a great days racing today particularly Ethan Cremin and Sarah Fuller have shown what this club is all about, only last year we were a spent force, we have certainly risen from the ashes and become one of the main contenders not just within the east region but Nationally, the determination and fight we displayed today only fuels us on to bigger and better challenges, it is only a matter of time before we start producing many National Champions.
